SpaceFab - In Space

There are many beneficial applications to having a telescope in space. Putting a telescope in space will allow us to take images of planets, galaxies, nebulae, and anything else in space! Because we will not have to worry about poor weather conditions, we can take long exposure images of just about anything. And with no atmosphere to shoot through, we will be able to take high resolution photos at any time of day. Taking images isn't the only thing we will be able to do with our telescope. We will also be able to monitor space for asteroids near and far. One of the future goals of SpaceFab is to mine the material that is inside asteroids and even start manufacturing in space. These telescopes are the first part to that long term goal.

High-Res Astrophotography

Anyone on Earth will be able to log into our systems and take their own images of anything they want with no clouds or weather to worry about.

Ultraviolet Imaging

Ultraviolet imaging is an important part of modern day astronomy. Most of the UV spectrum is blocked by the atmosphere, so research in UV is only by use of space flight.

24-Hour Imaging

Because our telescope is orbiting the Earth, it is always available to take images of planets, galaxies, nebulae and more at all times of the day.
